ADVERTISEMENT & COORDINATION

• The Advertisement & Coordination Section of DMA is headed by Assistant Director Municipal A&C Administration, MCI.
• There are 04 Nos of Teams in the Section, who are regularly go in field and issue Notices to the traders in commercial centres/ marakiz of Islamabad for obtaining Fascia Board and other advertisement license under Municipal Bye Laws-1969.
• After issuance of Notices, DMA issue Challan and case referred to Addl: Collector Revenue.

• The PMU Section of DMA is headed by Deputy Director DMA
• Dealing all Fair price, Flower and Handicrafts Shops estabilshed by CDA in Islamabad.
• Dealing Saidpur Model Village & Monal Restaurant Pir Sohawa Islamabad.

Flowers Shops

• Operation/ Management of Fairs Price Shops established by CDA in Islamabad

Saidpur Model Village

• Operation/ Management and Shops established by CDA in Saidpur Model Village & Monal Restaurant

Handicrafts Shops

• Operation/ Management of Handicrafts markets established by CDA in Islamabad

MUNICIPAL FUNCTION

• The Municipal Function Section of DMA is headed by Assistant Director (MF) DMA.
• Establishment of Annual Cattle Market in Islamabad on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha is under the responsibility of Admin Officer MF Section.
• Auction of G-9 Bus/Flying Coach Stand Islamabad
• Auction of Intra City Wagon/ Taxi Stand Islamabad.
• Auction of Car Parking at Daman-e-Koh, Shakar Parian Islamabad.
• Auction of Megazone Bowling Club F-9 Park Islamabad.
• Dealing temporary permissions for using of open space for outdoor seating & other seasonal permission purely on temporary basis.

 

• Licensing of Kiosks
• Licensing of temporary Open Spaces
  For the purpose of Outdoor seating, car parking, placement of generator, & amusement etc
• Licensing of temporary / provisional seasonal permissions
• Auction Sites for Car Parking/ Bus Stand
  Daman-e-Koh, Shakar Parian, Centaurs, Pakistan Monuments, DSS/VSF G-5, G-9 Bus Stand, F-9 Bowling Club, Intra City Taxi Stand.

  Operation/ Management of Dukancha/ Sheds established by CDA in Islamabad

TRADE LICENSE & REGISTRATION

• The Trade License & Registration Section of DMA is headed by Assistant Director Municipal Administration, MCI.
• There are 04 Nos of Teams in the Trade License Section, who are regularly go in field and issue Notices to the traders for    obtaining Trade Licensing under Municipal Bye Laws-1969.
• After issuance of Notices, DMA issue Challan and case referred to Addl: Collector Revenue.

TELECOM UNIT

• The Telecom Unit DMA is headed by Manager Projects reporting to Director DMA.
• Assistant Director Telecom Unit is working under Manager Projects, DMA.
• Created in 2014 to provide one window services to Telecom sector.
• Custodian to Telecom Policy and provide licenses / NOCs for Telecom services in Islamabad which include mobile operators, local loop operators, cable tv providers etc.

 

• Custodian of Authority’s Telecom Policy
• Generate revenue from Telecom Sector
• One Window Services to Telecom Sector
• Issues licenses / NOCs from Telecom service providers
• Licensing of Optic Fiber Cable Networks
• Licensing of Base Transceiver Systems
• Licensing of Cable TV operators / Local loop operators

BAZAAR SECTION

• Deputy Director Bazaar, DMA  is Sectional Head of Bazaars established by CDA in Islamabad.

Directorate of Municipal Administration deals the Weekly Bazaar established in different locations of Islamabad to facilitate the general public of the twin cities to purchase the Basic necessities on the whole sale prices. Detail of locations is as under:-

• Weekly Bazaar H-9 (03 days a week) Operation/ Management of Sunday, Tuesday &  Friday Bazaar established by CDA in Islamabad
• Weekly Bazaar (G-6) (One Day a week) Operation/ Management of Sunday Bazaar established by CDA in Islamabad
• Weekly Bazaar (G-10) (One Day a week) Operation/ Management of Sunday Bazaar established by CDA in Islamabad
• Weekly Bazaar (I-9) (One Day a week) Operation/ Management of Sunday Bazaar established by CDA in Islamabad
• Weekly Bazaar (Bhara Kahu) (One Day a week) Operation/ Management of Sunday Bazaar established by CDA in Islamabad

GRAVEYARD SECTION

Graveyard section is providing one of the exceptional 24/7 day and night burial facilities without break (specially officers/ incharge) on Gazetted Holidays to the residents of Islamabad. This type of meritorious services is even not given in anywhere in Pakistan. The graveyard sections is managing the following graveyards in Islamabad: -

• Muslim Graveyard (H-8) Area | 50 Acres Started  in 1964 Total graves | 45000 nos. No further space for graves.
• Muslim Graveyard (H-11) Area | 80 Acres Started  in 2007 Capacity of graves | 40,000 nos. Balance of graves | 20,000 nos.
• Christian Graveyard (H-9/3) Area | 313 Acres Started  in 1981 Total graves | 2000 nos. No further space for graves.
• Christian Graveyard (H-9/2) Area | 06 Acres Started  in 2000 Total graves | 6000 nos. No further space for graves.
• Christian Graveyard (H-9/2) Area | 3.74 Acres Started  in 2017 Capacity of graves | 2500 nos. Balance of graves | 3400 nos.
• Coffin Carries and grave digging facilities are provided on request of Bhai, Ismaili and Qadianis, whos graveyards are located in H-8 & H-9
• Transport Coffin Carrier Bus | 03. No Ambulances/ coffin van | 01 No. Suzuki Van | 01 No. Tractor Trolley & Motorcycle | 01 No.

• 24/7 SHIFT WISE DUTY IN FILED REGARDING CHECK & BALANCE FOR ENCROACHMENTS IN ISLAMABAD
